Very well maintained, apparently. His writeup conveys a lot of love for these things:
"These are an original pair of Altec Flamenco speakers (circa 1970) and matching console unit both in mint condition. The console contains a Vector Research receiver and Dual turntable along with plenty of storage. The Flamenco's feature a 15" woofer along with a horn driver. These speakers have become very popular among stereophile collectors. They sound fantastic, have never been modified or repaired and don't have any blemishes which is rare with cabinets this old. Will not break up set."

Dual turntables can be adequate, the vector research should be replaced at first opportunity. But still a heckuva deal.

Yeah, we'd have thought about not asking to break up the set @ $750. Not so much @ 14+ bills. hah. Lots of good stuff shows up in the Binghamton area.
I've got a willing contact up there with a truck, and some storage. I just don't like asking folks to move big heavy things on my behalf. I am the crazy one after all.
Still kicking self for not letting them go ahead and pick up the (dern cheap) 203b's that were up there a while back.
Price has now been changed to $1200--wonder if it's still on the way further down again. His listing is starting to seem like the stock market--I guess you really have to know when to buy!
